I run BananaOptics on my own. I cut the lenses, I answer the emails, I pack the boxes. A review from someone actually wearing the glasses does more for a shop this size than any advert I could buy, which is why I am willing to pay for one. I do not give out discounts lightly otherwise. Ken

What counts

The photo or the video has to show you wearing the glasses. A shot of them lying on a table does not count. The point is to show how they actually sit on a real face, which is the one thing nobody else on the internet has.

It does not have to be a good review

The refund does not depend on the rating. One star earns exactly the same as five stars. I would of course be glad if you like them, but that changes nothing about the refund. I publish every review as it was written, and I do not delete one for being critical.

How to claim it

Once your review is published, email me at contact@bananaoptics.com and give me your order number. I refund within five working days, as a partial refund on your original order, so it lands on whatever you paid with. One refund per order.

The Oakley Sutro S prescription insert (rx insert) clips behind the original Sutro S shield. Single vision, progressive, high RX and astigmatism: all supported. No contacts, no compromise, no different frame.

This is ONLY THE CLIP with prescription lenses. The sunglasses are not included.

The Sutro S is the smaller-fit version of the Sutro. The clip is the same part across the Sutro range, so it seats behind the shield exactly the same way.

We use tools and engineering techniques from Swiss watchmaking to achieve the tolerances that make progressives and strong prescriptions possible. This is not a universal adapter.

Strong Prescriptions Welcome

We regularly build inserts for prescriptions that other companies turn away. High sphere, strong astigmatism. If you're unsure whether your prescription works, send it to us. We'll tell you honestly what's possible.

Precision Fit

We engineer and manufacture the nosepads in-house to make sure they meet our standards for your specific frame model. The rubber compound is developed in-house for grip that holds during sweat without marking the shield.

Yes. The insert sits behind the original lens, so you keep using the Sutro S lenses you already own. Check that the insert is seated correctly after every lens change.

Does this clip also fit my other Sutro?
Yes. All Sutro clips are identical, so one insert moves between the Sutro, Sutro S, Sutro Lite, Sutro Lite S and Sutro Lite Sweep. Only the Sutro TI, the titanium model, is not compatible.
