Which ski goggles fit a prescription insert? The tested list
This is the list of goggles I have put my prescription insert into, with the result for each one. One row per model and size. It grows every time I test a new goggle, and I would rather publish a short honest list than a long guessed one. If your goggle is not here, send me the model and I check it before you order.

The eight goggles tested so far, all on the same day with the same V3 insert

How to read the table
Three results appear. Fits, tested means I seated the insert in that exact goggle, wore it, and photographed it. The Tested column names the insert version and the day, today the V3 throughout. Fits, larger size of a tested frame means the same frame in a bigger size: a larger goggle only gives the insert more room, so I list it as fitting without a separate test. Expected to fit, not tested yet means I have not had that goggle in hand with the insert. I expect it to fit, because every goggle so far has, but I only say fits after a test. Smaller sizes of a tested frame are the ones I most want to check in hand, because a smaller cavity is the one thing that could stop the insert. A fourth result, Does not fit, has no row yet. When it does, it goes here first.
The lens swap column matters for magnetic goggles: on a Smith MAG or Anon MFI the lens should still lift off and snap back with the insert in place. Where I have tested that, it says so.

Brands with no tested model yet
Giro, Julbo, Uvex, Bollé, Alpina, Scott, POC, Dragon, Salomon, Atomic, Decathlon. Nothing on this page says they do not fit. It says I have not had them in hand with the insert. The insert needs three things: a cavity behind the lens deep enough for it, a lens or rubber surround for its four arms to rest against, and the right distance to the eye once the depth adapter is chosen. Every ski, snowboard, motocross and paintball goggle I know of has that cavity, which is why the same insert seated in all eight above. If you own one of these, send me the model and I tell you what I expect and whether I can get one to test.
Why the two mechanisms matter for fit

Fitting is not only whether the insert goes in. The V3 insert adjusts in height, a ladder of holes in the bridge in 3 mm steps set to your pupil height, and in depth, push-on adapters of 5, 10 and 15 mm that bring the lens back to the distance your glasses sit at. A deep goggle sometimes needs no adapter at all. A shallow one needs the lens as close to the eye as the goggle allows. Both are set before the insert ships, from your prescription and the goggle model you name, which is why the model matters even when the answer is yes. The optics behind that are in the high prescription guide.

Frequently Asked Questions
My goggle is not on the list. Will the insert fit?
Very likely. It has seated in every goggle I have tried, across four brands, and the only thing that could stop it is a cavity too small for it, which is why smaller sizes are the ones I test first. Send me the model and size and I will tell you before you order.
Does it fit OTG goggles made for glasses?
Yes. The Smith Reason OTG is on the list. The insert takes the place of your glasses, so the extra room an OTG goggle has for temples is simply spare.
Can I still swap a magnetic lens with the insert in?
On the two magnetic systems I have tested, Smith MAG and Anon MFI, yes. The lens lifts off and snaps back with the insert seated. Photographed on the 4D MAG.
Does it work in motocross or mountain bike goggles?
Yes. The 100% Strata 2 is on the list. The insert sits inside the goggle and never touches the outside of the lens, so tear-offs and roll-offs are unaffected.
Does the insert mark the goggle lens?
Four arms rest against the inside of the goggle, on the lens or on the rubber around it depending on the model. In two years, one customer with very frequent use has reported faint marks on the inside of the lens where the arms rest. Nowhere near damage, but I would rather you know.
Why is a smaller size listed as not tested when the larger one fits?
Because a bigger frame only adds room and a smaller one takes it away. The larger size of a tested frame cannot be a worse fit, so I list it. The smaller size could be, so I check it in hand first.
